The Lighthouse stands alone and tall in both light and darkness and it, along with its beacon, is a focal point which Symbolizes strength, guidance and safe harbor; it is a Spiritual "Welcome Mat" for all those who are traveling by sea. Symbolically The Lighthouse is similar to the Star, as the Star serves as guidance.

A lighthouse can symbolize various things, such as overcoming challenges and adversity or guidance. It is most commonly used to symbolize a way forward and help in navigating through the world.

The lighthouse symbol can be broken down into two concepts. The first is of the lighthouse itself, which can symbolize salvation and safety, especially in the face of adversity. The second concept is the lighthouse keeper, the person who tends the lighthouse. Common symbols associated with that concept include a figure living alone but always remaining vigilant.
